i had a bbq last night, and i had the most amazing time. my boyfriend is one the best cooks. he is definitely a grill master! then we went to the superconducting supercollider and creeped around, i took a disposable camera and as soon as i get them developed ill post them. abandoned places are so interesting to me, its weird how people use to spend so much of their lives in some place and then everything stops and they just leave. if you dont know what the ssc is you should definitely google it. i never knew about it until yesterday and its strange how out of the whole country it was built practically in my backyard.

detox

i am currently detoxing from food. we spent the weekend at my boyfriends mothers and i swear i ate an entire grocery store. it was nice being away from technology though. its always refreshing to go back to your roots every once in awhile. i also did a mini shoot on thursday with the wonderful sukilynn, will have pictures soon! i hope everyone has a good monday :)

i loved that my lunch matched my outfit. i grilled tilapia and put diced avocados and tomatoes over it with a side of green beans. so light and refreshing perfect for the weather we've been having lately here in dallas.

i also have so much coming up, ive been working on we were tigers a lot lately. i am just so excited for things to come these next two months!

1/2 lime

1&1/2 T lime juice

1/2 t agave nectar (gently warmed)

2oz rum

4oz club soda

approx 2/3c ice

mint and extra lime (as you see fit)

cut lime into small wedges and stir in shaker, add ice and lime juice, shake. then add rum, clubsoda and agave, shake more. add mint and shake once more. garnish as you wish and enjoy!

insomniac

for some reason for the passed two nights i just cant sleep. i dont know if its because my mind is racing with so much to do and so much coming up or if its something serious (because trust me, i like my sleep and i like it a lot) im sure all is well but during this sleep deprived nonsense my mild obsessions have now become full blown. i have a small(ish) addiction to TCM, well its practically all i watch now. im currently glued to the 1936 version of romeo and juliet and playing fall down til i beat my high score (316) ill definitely keep you updated on the progress. i hope you all have a wonderful morning!

playing with my new tripod! im so excited to finally get this blog going once and for all. im not exactly one 'chasing fame' in the blogosphere, its more like getting my voice heard and hopefully inspiring people not only in their wardrobes but in their lives. im also a fashion marketing/public relations student and its odd how often a blog comes in handy.

anyways these platforms are one of my treasures i picked up the other day, i thought the brand was pretty hilarious and they were half off so i decided i needed them. they fit quite well and were surprisingly comfortable, definitely fulfills my yearning (for now that is) for running with scissors esque platforms

i finally managed to get up and dressed for once, and actually look decent.

we had sushi for lunch, and i was very disappointed in their octopuss salad. i really love being vegan, ive missed it so much, but im not quite done experimenting with omnivoreness! it is time to lose weight and be healthier though.

sorry for crappy pics my boyfriend needs to start taking my pictures, and thrifting was very successful, ill update later with my treasures. now i have to go finish baking cupcakes, jon thinks theyre a natural pain reliever pfft!
