pretty in pink?

after our fashion society meeting catie and i decided to hit up the bishop arts district. theres a few cute places to visit like pretty in pink and zolas vintage, but my personal fav is definitely the soda gallery. i almost died when i saw an aluminum bottle of coke zero, the cashier thought i was crazy haha

after we wandered around for a little while we were famished so we headed to spiral and ate vegan quesadillas! sooooooo goooooooooooooood, then we decided to end our day annihilating a thrift store, which was also sooooooooooooooo goooooooooood. ill point out stuff as we post our outfits!

skool sucks

well, not really when you have the best teachers and go with your bestfriend. going to school downtown for fashion not only gives you the incentive to dress well but you have to be comfortable to walk.. a lot. we didnt plan it but apparently it was sweatshirt day.

i went thrift shopping at my favorite little shop and got this top and those shorts, well theyre hideous mom jeans turned too short shorts. i also got a mustard cardigan and amazing brown leather sandals. which is the best way to spend your last four bucks in my book.

you see those boots? i got them at a thrift store with the lovely georgina one fine afternoon, not only do they fit like a dream and are worn in like a champ, they were one dollar.

raw food and mbproz

so this afternoon the most wonderful woman in the world, aka my mother and i went on a mini day date. to start off i had a run in with a little bad luck (okay a lot of bad luck) this past year, i lost a lot of superficial items and gained a lot of knowledge and great friends. for 2010 i decided im living life to the fullest and doing everything my heart desires. anyways! my ipod, macbook, camera, favorite purse with all of my favorite things in it was all stolen (at different times and places fml) so since school is starting up i needed a new computer and today was the day ive been waiting for since it got stolen the week before christmas. oh we also ate raw food, which is delectable and everyone should go to Bliss Raw Cafe and Elixir Bar @ Greenville & Park Lane!

so if you havent read my about me heres a little run down on who Jessica Eligh is...

im going to be 19 coming up and itll also be my one year anniversary of being vegan. i work in retail at a store called madewell, i love cupcakes, moustaches and tigers and i have a wonderful boyfriend. i reside in the best city in the greatest state; dallas, texas. okay maybe thats not completely true but i do enjoy myself here. i go to school downtown and im a fashion student. im taking on a lot this year on top of school and work, lots of fashion shows, party planning and brand designing...

i hope i can fit breathing in there somewhere
